I admit I am a Doctor Who fan, dyed in the wool, and not as much a fan of Star Trek. I must say however that this trailer for the new movie is rather impressive.

Meh, I guess I'm getting old. It looks okay--but also looks a bit, eh, like a heavy on the special effects and violence and sex teen flick, to me. Maybe it actually has a good script/good acting, who knows? I haven't seen a new film since 2005.

It's supposed to be a 'prequel' of sorts. A young Mr. Spock and a young James T. Kirk.
