With thousands of people getting laid off and the economy in a mess, Charity Shops are the place to shop. Aunt Maggie got me a designer handbag for 3 dollars. It is a very nice purse. They didn't clean it when they sold it though so I started to clean it and found a pill in it. Ah, a purse and pill, lovely. No I did the right thing and got rid of it. You can find some nice hardly used things at Charity Shops.

we were on holiday in England in a rather posh place when it started raining so we ran into the nearest charity shop to buy waterproof jackets. Upon looking around almost everything was a designer label!

That's what Aunt Maggie said about the charity shop near where I live. Rich people buying clothes and sometimes never wearing the clothes and then giving them to the charity shop, she said it was full of designer label clothes.
