What I wish for Christmas

I wish for my blog UK friends to have a Merry Christmas.
I wish to find out who the next Doctor Who is by Christmas.
I wish for better things to come for all.

This afternoon I got home from work and was just going to take a nap before chatting with my friends. Well, I got sidetracked. I went down to the storage locker and decided to bring up the Christmas tree and put it up. I not only put up the tree, with help from my cats Captain Jack Harkness and Gabbie, but also strung lights outside on my balcony. My mum passed away last year after a long bout with cancer and I wasn't in the mood for Christmas. Not really in the mood this year either but I said I am doing it anyway by George and so I did.

So Merry Christmas, it's almost here.

I know what you mean about Christmas. I didn't do Christmas for two years, after mom died..just didn't seem the same, Christmas alone. I sort of did more, last Christmas, 'cos I won that Christmas tree--and this year I got a few more lights and a couple more ornaments...still, Christmas alone, kinda' sucks...hope you at least have someone to share it with...besides your cats--they're good company, and they do like their little prezzies--I even am getting them their own stocking, this year (soon as I get it off of layaway, that is) But I really miss mom and our Christmas eve's together...I loved it so much, I used to hate for midnight to come.

I'll be putting up my tree next week--expect my three cats will also be "assisting" me...by knocking the balls off the tree, he-ha. "see" you tomorrow night, maybe.

  We used to have pancakes or waffles on Christmas Eve and open one prezzie. I miss her. Still she would want me to enjoy things. I put lights on the balcony and Christmassy things around the flat. I still have to put up my kitties stockings on the mantle.
