It's a line from the John Lennon book "In his Own Write". I got it as a child. It was a book of Lennon's poems. That's how I feel today. I hadn't opened the mail from yesterday and when I got the run down from my money market account, the current economy really hit me. IT'S LOST HALF IT'S VALUE. I am not rich, not even well off but I had been doing all the things you are supposed to do and it's just been all whizzed down the drain so to speak. Now I am back poor where I started. Oh well, it's going to get better, eh. Here to cheer us up is a little eye candy.

I guess I have on odd perspective on DT. For me DT is an actor a good one who has brought Ten to life but I tend to like the characters more than the actors. It's their job to act. It is just a job. I liked the Ninth Doctor and I think Ten is adorable. It's really a great picture of the Tenth Doctor. That's just me. Ten is a cutie. David Tennant is a good actor.
I am ok. It just rained on my parade last night to read that. What is I were old enough getting ready to retire? Luckily I am not. Talk to you next weekend.

Are your funds spread over various investments or all with one organisation / fund?
Is it posible that they will recover their value over time?-

My accounts are diversified so that is good. I need to move into some bonds as they are safer right now. It was just a shock to see how much I lost on paper and felt poor. I will be fine. I am not close to retirement so it can recover. It really made me think though, what if I WAS close to retirement. I would be really sad. Still it is a concern and while I have a good job, my company is planning on cutbacks too so that is a concern. Bother.

you know, the only time I find that man attractive--seriously, he's not my "type"--is when he smiles. Gosh, the man does have a truly beautiful smile...and the personality to go with it, from all I hear. That is a nice pic!
Sorry to hear about your money woes. I went through that in 2005...lost $4000 in one month--only due to mum's medical bills when she lost her coverage for a month, than from the economy. I'm really sorry you've got to deal with this, on top of everything else.
It was lovely chatting to you. Gary had added himself to my list tonight, and I'm hoping we'll all have a nice chat a week from now.
Have a good night, J.
