We have a new point system at work. Designed to keep plebeians like myself strictly in line. It starts with a hundred points and you get points deducted for various infractions like, sneezing while talking to a customer or clearing your throat. It's like that errant booger cost me 2 points and oh no a wad of spit caught in my throat is costing me 5 points. I am doomed. I can't go five minutes without sniffling as I have allergies which also causes excessive phlegm.
Why is it when some corporate person decides to micromanage and devise medieval ways of keeping the workers in line, I always end up in those jobs. On the bright side I have a job and a good one so I guess I had just better keep that snot rag handy, eh.
