What a whirlwind. I went to New, New, New, New etc., York, as Rose said in New Earth so nice they had to name it twice. Well actually, I went to New York and found a nice job!! I will be taking care of elderly people in a very nice home. Not making tons of money but I will manage fine. It was that or the high stress job that offered tons of money. I chose the lower stress job. While my brother is looking for a flat for me I am now throwing away stuff and getting ready to make the trek the first week in June from the good old Midwest to New York. What an adventure.

I hope everyone is fine. I have really missed reading blogs and posting. Wasn't able to comment on the one off Doctor Who special Planet of the Dead which was fantastic. Next up is The Waters of Mars in the fall.

Since we always know who the companion will be it is not really too spoilerish to print the picture of the Tenth Doctor's last companion. For me this is not only a surprise, but just the best news. While still just a rumour I think it will be announced shortly and it is fantastic.

I am not posting the pictures as they are very spoilerish but here are some clues as to the possible reason for the regeneration of the Tenth Doctor. I will let you guess, two people from the Tenth Doctor's era may have vengeance on their minds. One might be obvious but the other one not so much. It is rumoured that they will team up against the Doctor.

I admit I am a Doctor Who fan, dyed in the wool, and not as much a fan of Star Trek. I must say however that this trailer for the new movie is rather impressive.

Doctor Who specials filming

First the bad news. The rumour and the fact that the Easter Special will now be the Christmas Special..whaaat?!!!! The whole scheduled has been pushed back apparently. I for one think it is appalling...I am not putting a spoiler alert because by the time we see this special, the spoilers will be forgotten. Bother.

As reported in several newspapers.

I don't know why I find this interesting, but now Megan the reality show twit who made fun of Ozzy to Sharon and then was completely surprised when Sharon retaliated, is now suing Sharon Osbourne. Reality show twits, there's just too many of them around.
